
Guam, population 160,800, is another territory of the United States. Known locally as Guahan It is the southern-most of the Mariana Islands and is geographically located in the western Pacific Ocean, about three quarters of the way between Hawaii and the Philippines.
The flag is set on a dark blue background, surrounded a red border. The center of the flag contains a vertical ellipse depicting a beach scene. It is constructed of high-durability nylon.
